Unity 2.1 Released
In late July we proudly released Unity 2.1, an incredible update featuring both bug fixes and a number of new features. Many of those new features have helped evolve Unity into a virtual world or MMOG-capable development tool in addition to providing a host of new features that all developers will enjoy. What's New in Unity 2.1

There are Two Unity Authored In-Browser MMOGs in Development
At the same time as we announced the Unity 2.1 release we were also happy to report that there are two full-blown in-browser MMOGs being developed with Unity. The first of those is FusionFall being developed by Cartoon Networks and Grigon Entertainment, while the other is an unnamed project from Funcom and ArtPlant. Unity Supports Development of Virtual Worlds & MMO Games

The Unity community's growth and range of interests has triggered the creation of the first print publication dedicated to Unity development, Unity Developer Magazine. The magazine is a bi-monthly publication that shipped issue #1 in July and it's poised to be a great on-going source of information for everyone using Unity.
